Beautiful tower! We were there during sunset on a rainy day and even then, it was a gorgeous view! I personally enjoyed it more at night, when it is lit up and during the "twinkle" light show. It was a magical experience.
Pictures, pictures, and more pictures is was this visit is all about! I mean, can we really have too many pictures at the Eiffel Tower?? Of course not!
All of us want to have memories to last a lifetime and we were fortunate to have met other tourists who helped take our pictures for us as well. We all seem to be there for the same reason so it was nice to be able to take others' pictures as they returned the favor. -

This visit all from ground level.
In previous visits I have waited the lines and taken the small elevators up to the observation deck. On a windy day it can really sway. On a cloudy day, it's a disappointing short view. But when it's perfect, it's perfect. And crowded.
The evening is probably the best or most fun. Wander the paths around the Tower, as locals sell glasses and bottles of wine and champagne. Sit back, if you can find an open bench, and enjoy the light show.
Of course you don't have to walk all the way over the Parc du Champ de Mars, the iconic structure can be seen day or night from so many other places. -

We took a bus ride here after having some crepe and getting myself a warm beanie. It was so cold.
Then right when we arrived and walking towards the tower, it started raining. So we stood under the tree for a little bit. Lol Good thing it didn't rain for long. Maybe like 5 minutes.
We headed over after and it was kind of gloomy. Maybe 10 minutes or so, the sky started to clear up. The sun came out. It was so nice. We also returned during night time on another day bc my friend wanted to see it twinkle. She literally just wanted to see that so we Uber there. She was like ok, we can go now. That was like a minute. So I was like, heck no, I'm not spending that 10€ just to come here for one photo. So I made her stay for another hr until it sparks again. Hahaha
There has been some changes from 5 years ago. It used to be an open area where you can go under the Eiffel Tower and look up. That was very very pretty! But now they built like a clear fence around the whole thing. You need to pay to get it. I'm not exactly sure the reason behind it though and I don't know if it's permanent or temporary. We didn't go in but if you do decide to visit and actually go in during night time, look under the tower, you won't disappoint. -

The Eiffel Tour...we all know this iconic landmark in Paris.
Seen her twice in my life. Never have I gone to the top, read other reviews of that. There's an optical illusion shot where you appear to be pinching the top or holding the bottom of the tower, again you'll need to read another review for that.
Behind the tower is a row of benches Many folk grab a seat there to view the light show. Look for the men selling a plethora of mini Eiffel Towers in all shapes, sizes, colors, some that are shiny, some that light up, etc. A few of these vendors, are al fresco bartenders offering wine and beer while you watch the light show.
Tourist tip: There are many ways to experience Eiffel pick what suits you. -

As stunning as I expected. Went here during the day and during the night and both times provided a great view of the Eiffel Tower. Would recommend taking photos of it while you are sort of far away because once you get too close, the pictures just don't turn out too good. Make sure to go early if you want pictures without a lot of people in the background. At night with the lights sparkling by the hour and the light beam spinning, it's a marvelous view!
